Moomoo Taps CROSSx To Bring Institutional-Grade Crypto Execution To Retail Traders

TL;DR: Moomoo is integrating Crossover Markets’ CROSSx electronic communication network into its US crypto offering. The infrastructure offers sub-10-microsecond matching and will connect Moomoo’s retail interface with a broader network of digital-asset liquidity providers.

Retail traders rarely see the machinery sitting behind the buy and sell buttons on a crypto platform.

Moomoo is upgrading that machinery.

The trading platform has partnered with Crossover Markets to integrate CROSSx, an execution-only digital asset electronic communication network, into its US crypto offering.

CROSSx is built to match institutional digital asset orders at extremely low latency.

Crossover says its engine delivers sub-10-microsecond order-to-ack matching times and is designed to continue handling order flow during periods when crypto markets become particularly volatile.

Moomoo will connect its customer-facing trading interface to that infrastructure.

The company serves more than 30 million investors globally across its various markets, meaning the partnership potentially brings technology originally built around institutional execution to a very large retail distribution channel.

The appeal is straightforward.

Retail crypto platforms do not simply need a clean app.

They need liquidity behind that app.

When markets move quickly, the quality of routing, matching and available counterparties can affect how efficiently an order is filled and how closely execution matches the price displayed when a trader presses the button.

CROSSx operates from the NY4 data-center environment and connects market participants through its matching and routing technology.

Moomoo said the integration is intended to strengthen the reliability of its digital-asset execution as it expands crypto services for US customers.

That fits a broader trend in online brokerage.

Platforms that historically specialized in stocks increasingly want users to trade crypto without leaving the same account and interface.

Once that happens, expectations change.

Customers who are accustomed to mature equity-market execution are less likely to tolerate weak liquidity or unstable crypto infrastructure simply because the asset class is newer.

Crossover co-founder Anthony Mazzarese said the partnership reflects the shift toward platforms selecting specialized technology for each part of the trading lifecycle.

That may ultimately be the most interesting part of the deal.

Crypto exchanges once tried to build virtually every component of the trading stack themselves.

The market is increasingly beginning to look more like traditional finance, where specialized firms provide execution, custody, clearing, data and liquidity infrastructure behind the scenes.

Moomoo is betting that retail crypto users will benefit from that same architecture.

Coinbase Adds Wormhole To Spot Trading As Solana Infrastructure Tokens Gain Visibility

Coinbase listings still matter, even in a market that likes to pretend every token is already globally accessible. The exchange ’s decision to add Wormhole puts another major infrastructure name in front of a much broader pool of traders. That matters because Wormhole is not just another speculative ticker. It sits inside one of crypto’s most important, and most debated, categories: cross-chain connectivity. For more details, visit the official Coinbase platform. TL;DR Coinbase is adding support for Wormhole’s W token on spot markets. The listing gives a higher-profile venue to a token tied to cross-chain infrastructure. It also keeps Solana ecosystem names in front of mainstream exchange users. Why A Wormhole Listing Is Interesting Bridge and messaging infrastructure often do not get the same retail attention as consumer-facing protocols, but they matter enormously to how liquidity and applications move between ecosystems. Coinbase’s listing helps push t...

Bitcoin Remains Range-Bound As Volatility Declines – Analyst Explains Price Action

Bitcoin has experienced frustrating price action in recent weeks, leaving investors impatient about its short-term direction. The price has been testing crucial supply levels between $98K and $100K, struggling to break out as uncertainty dominates the market. The lack of a clear move has led to speculation about whether BTC is preparing for a breakout or another correction. Adding to the uncertainty, the market was hit by negative news on Friday when crypto exchange Bybit was hacked, resulting in the theft of $1.4 billion in ETH. The incident caused fear and volatility, briefly dragging prices lower. However, Bybit responded quickly to reassure investors, easing some of the initial panic and stabilizing the market. Despite this, Bitcoin continues to consolidate in a tight range. Crypto expert Daan shared an analysis on X, noting that BTC is still ranging while volatility is steadily decreasing. As price compression increases, traders are on high alert for a potential explosive move....
