Arbitrum DAO Votes On Grant Ban For Three Projects After Watchdog Cases

TL;DR

  • Arbitrum DAO is voting on grant bans for Good Entry, Limitless and APX Finance.
  • The action follows Watchdog cases that recovered roughly 532,000 ARB.
  • The vote remains open through September 23, so the bans are not yet final.

Arbitrum DAO is considering formal grant bans for three projects following high-severity cases identified through its Watchdog program.

The proposal names Good Entry, Limitless and APX Finance and asks the DAO to prevent the projects from receiving future grants.

Watchdog Cases Lead To A Governance Response

The proposal follows investigations that resulted in the recovery of roughly 532,000 ARB.

That gives the vote a different character from a routine funding proposal. Rather than deciding how to allocate fresh capital, delegates are being asked to set consequences after prior grant-related problems were identified.

The Watchdog program exists to monitor grant recipients and investigate cases where milestones, reporting or use of funds raise concerns.

Vote Is Still Open

The governance status is not final.

Voting remains active through September 23, which means the DAO has not yet conclusively imposed the bans.

That matters because governance headlines can easily outrun the actual state of a vote.

If approved, the proposal would create a formal barrier preventing the three named projects from accessing future Arbitrum grant programs. If it fails, the Watchdog findings and recovered ARB would still stand, but the additional grant-ban policy would not.

For now, the important point is that Arbitrum’s accountability system has moved from investigation into an active DAO-level decision.

Coinbase Adds Wormhole To Spot Trading As Solana Infrastructure Tokens Gain Visibility
